Dean Prigelmeier

Mr. Prigelmeier is founder and CEO of Proactive Technologies, Inc., established in 1986, as well as the creator of the PROTECH© system of managed human resource development software system and related methodology. Prigelmeier has written numerous papers on workforce development utilizing the approach and is a contributing author to several college textbooks. He continues to speak at trade seminars and conferences internationally on the topic of maximizing human resource potential, and has been spotlighted in several technical and trade articles.

Prior to starting Proactive Technologies, Inc. he worked in manufacturing for companies including AMI Industries, AMPEX Incorporated, Sundstrand Aviation and Rockwell International. His background includes human resource development, training, quality engineering, quality assurance - operator certification, and product configuration management.

Since then, he devoted his energy to developing his approach to support his efforts in confronting what he concluded was a threat to America's economic security: untapped human capacity, lost through unstructured, informal and haphazard worker training, and its effect on productivity and competitiveness.

Mr. Prigelmeier received an A.S. in Electronic Engineering Technology, a B.A. in Political Science/Economics from the University of Colorado, and a Masters of Business Administration – International Business from Regis University.
