1. Pick one of your most challenging job classifications – Reasons might include a job classification that is very large, not well defined, driven by numerous processes, being designed to support new products/processes or one with high turnover due to its complexity, impending hiring or expected high rates of retirement (a retirement that may cause you to lose that “tribal knowledge” and expertise forever);

2. Proactive Technologies will develop a Job Hierarchy for that job classification – This free follow-up online session of up to 1 ½ hours for PTI with one of your subject matter experts for the specific job classification you select, will allow you to evaluate PTI’s approach to structuring the on-the-job training program for your organization with a good “first-pass” list of all of the tasks that make up the job. Should you choose to continue with a project, each task will be analyzed for the best practice procedural steps, incorporating any process documents, quality specifications, safety compliance criteria, etc. From the processed data collected onsite, all of the support materials for a complete worker development program will be developed using our PROTECH® system of managed human resource development© software. As part of the project, Proactive Technologies will manage the structured training system, train your existing informal on-the-job trainers to use the materials, collect records and report progress monthly for you, so you can focus on your business.

Returning Clients:

Many projects were disrupted by the Crash of 2008, the Covid-19 Pandemic, mergers/acquisitions and the following years of disarray for those companies. In most cases, state grant-funded training program(s) were already set-up, incumbent workers assessed for the training gap and the program was either underway or was about to get underway. With the turmoil following the Crash, Proactive Technologies’ contacts at the client’s plant were changed or lost, and the substantial value of an investment already made unrealized.
