WELCOME!

WELCOME CONTITECH!

Proactive Technologies, Inc. and its staff welcomes Contitech – a Continental company named, once again, as one of America’s Best Large Employers for 2023 by Forbes magazine. This is the seventh time Continental has been named to this esteemed list for its efforts in supporting the employee experience.

ContiTech develops, manufactures and markets products, systems and intelligent components made of rubber, plastic, metal and fabric. They are used in machine and plant engineering, mining, agriculture, the automotive industry and other important sectors of the future.

“To be recognized again among America’s best large employers reinforces our dedication to employees through career development opportunities, commitment to inclusion, and a flexible work-life balance,” said Grace Hu, U.S, Head of Human Relations, Continental. “Emphasis on an employee-centric culture has never been more paramount to business success. Continental is proud of the workplace culture they have fostered and the talented teams that have flourished as a result.

Steven Brinkman, Head of Human Resources – Sun Prairie, WI LDPC & Global Compliance Ambassador is bringing the Proactive Technologies structured on-the-job training approach to ContiTech after his experience as HR Manager for Triumph Thermal Systems, where he took over and managed Triumph’s legacy structured OJT program before accepting his position at ContiTech. ContiTech’s, an IATF Certified company, strategy is to set-up and implement structured on-the-job training programs for initially 11 positions at one facility, capturing existing expertise for the accelerated transfer to new, existing and cross-training workers. Also, ContiTech seeks to expand apprenticeships from their existing Maintenance program.

Proactive Technologies and its staff looks forward to working with the staff and employees of ContiTech to successfully create and implement their structured OJT system of managed human resource development.

(Mountain Time) The philosophy behind, and development/implementation of, structured on-the-job training; the many benefits the employer can realize from the PROTECH© system of managed human resource development in more than just the training area; examples of projects across all industries, including manufacturing and manufacturing support companies. When combined with related technical instruction, this approach has been easily registered as an apprenticeship-focusing the structured on-the-job training on exactly what are the required tasks of the job. Registered or not, this approach is the most effective way to train workers to full capacity in the shortest amount of time –cutting internal costs of training while increasing worker capacity, productivity, work quality and quantity, and compliance.

(Mountain Time) The philosophy behind, and development/implementation of, structured on-the-job training; how any employer can benefit from the PROTECH© system of managed human resource development in more that just the training area; building related technical instruction/structured on-the-job training partnerships for employers across all industries one-by-one. How this can become a cost-effective, cost-efficient and highly credible workforce development strategy – easy scale up by just plugging each new employer into the system. When partnering with economic development agencies, and public and private career and technical colleges and universities for the related technical instruction, this provides the most productive use of available grant funds and gives employers-employees/trainees and the project partners the biggest win for all. This model provides the support sorely needed by employers who want to partner in the development of the workforce but too often feel the efforts will not improve the workforce they need.
